AI assistant (MCP)
You can connect the arcula docs to an AI tool that speaks MCP: Claude, Cursor, VS Code and others. The assistant answers from these same articles and gives the agent install line and the setup steps.
Address
https://arcula.sh/mcpNo sign-in needed: it serves only the docs. Through arcula the assistant doesn't see your servers, storages or data, and it changes nothing in arcula.
Connect
| Tool | How |
|---|---|
| Claude Code | claude mcp add --transport http arcula https://arcula.sh/mcp |
| Claude, web and app | Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, with the address above |
| Cursor | In ~/.cursor/mcp.json: {"mcpServers": {"arcula": {"url": "https://arcula.sh/mcp"}}} |
| VS Code | In .vscode/mcp.json: {"servers": {"arcula": {"type": "http", "url": "https://arcula.sh/mcp"}}} |
| Other | The address above, Streamable HTTP transport |
What to ask
- “How do I connect a server to arcula?”
- “Why doesn't the backup reach the storage?”
- “Give me a setup checklist from scratch.”
What it can do
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
search_docs | Searches the docs |
read_doc | Reads an article or one of its sections |
list_docs | Lists the articles by topic |
install_command | Gives the agent install line and what to do next |
setup_checklist | Gives the quick start step by step |
You run the commands from the answer yourself, on your own server. The assistant can be wrong — check the article: the answer links to it.
The same article is in the panel, under “Help”.
